NYC Marathon

Dear Matthew,

It is with the deepest gratitude that I thank you for your support of the ING NYC Marathon this past Sunday. The 43rd running of the ING New York City Marathon marked a comeback of NYC’s beloved five-borough race after its cancelation last year in the wake of Superstorm Sandy, and it allowed us to pay tribute to those affected by both the storm and April’s Boston Marathon bombings in the best way we could. The marathon’s return to the streets was greeted with joy by the 50,104 runners from around the world who safely crossed our finish line in beautiful Central Park, and by the thongs of spectators who lined the 26.2 miles across the city’s streets/ It was truly a magnificent day to be in New York City.

The health and safety of this event was only possible with your most generous donation of time and expertise. We certainly could not have done this without you. Please consider joining us for a future event.

Once again, my sincerest thanks.

Warmest regards,
